What is a birth doula?

Doulas provide nonjudgemental informational, physical, and emotional support during pregnancy, childbirth and the immediate postpartum. Your doula can help foster the relationship between partners and mothers/partners and caregivers, and provide skills, tools and information during childbirth when emotions and fatigue may run high. Your doula will stay by your side until your baby has been born.

"A woman, as long as she lives, will remember how she was made to feel at her birth"

- Anna Verwaal
